I have been so excited for Christmas break this year for several reasons. One reason is that it is the only time of year that I actually get a break from work and with three jobs that is a wonderful feeling to not have to go online or prepare a lesson every single day. Another major reason is that we decided this year to spend our New Year's the way we used to....with Boring people. (He he).
Our best friends (The Borings) moved to Texas a couple years ago. For several years before that it was our tradition to party at their house on New Year's Eve. Nothing better than a night full of young, boring, Wii playing, chili eating craziness to start the year off right.
However, since they moved, the closest we have gotten is a few text messages on that night reminding each other that we should be hanging out. This year we decided to make the long drive to renew the tradition, so we drove down to San Antonio, Texas. Do you know what else is in San Antonio, Texas?.....
Big Lou's Pizza! A crazy, busy pizza place that has a sign reminding you that it will take at least 2 hours to get your pizza. Why, you ask? Why would it take 2 hours to get a pizza? Why would someone wait two hours for a pizza? Because the pizza looks like this
That's right! 42 inches of pure heart attack.
It almost looks like the whole table is made out of pizza.
I think I wanted the pictures of us with the pizza more than I actually wanted to eat it.
For a while we just stared at the complete awesomeness that sat before us, then one by one we all dug in. One of my demands for getting this pizza was that we all had to have our picture taken with it in some way.
Donald with the Pizza
Hannah with the pizza
Kirstine with the pizza

And me with the pizza
Who knew you could have so much fun with pizza. I am glad we brought so many people. I thought we would still have left overs, but that pizza was no match for us.
I wonder what kind of young boring trouble we will get into tomorrow.
