We decided to be host parents this year at youth conference. We had a really great group of 7 girls and had an amazing time. On Friday we went up on a cold mountain, then ended up back at the stake center, but heard some amazing speakers. We came home very tired, then at about 9:40pm the Chatham's brought their boys over to TP our house, once we caught them, there was no holding the girls back. After they chased the boys down the street, tackled them and literally stole their shoes (well- one shoe) they vowed revenge. So at 4am the girls came upstairs and woke us up to drive them over to 'return the favor', only they decided to add butter to door handles and saran wrap the front door handle to a tree so it could not be opened. I think Don was having just as much fun as they were. Saturday the youth did a service project and did a great job with it and then we all had loads of fun at the dance and Don even danced with me. Don walked over to Bishop Fardig and said "she is making me dance, I don't dance, I look stupid." Bishop Fardig said "It doesn't matter what you look like, what matters is that your wife has been smiling the whole time."- What a wise man. We had a wonderful weekend, I am so glad we were a part of youth conference.
