Relay for Life :)

This past weekend we took part in the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life.  Our team 'Hope' walked around a track for 24 hours straight to show that cancer never sleeps and that we are willing to fight back to help find a cure.

Here is a
picture of us before the event started.

And here is the after picture.

It was a long 24 hours and we estimated that we each walked about 15-20 miles over the whole
day.
The relay
started at 9am on Saturday and
ended at 9am Sunday.  On Saturday night they had a luminary ceremony and lined the track with candle filled bags dedicated to those who have fought cancer.  We
dedicated one to my stepmom Beth who has been battling breast cancer and one to my Aunt Carole who lost her life to breast cancer 4 years ago.

I am so glad we had a chance to be a part of such a wonderful, yet challenging experience. We had a lot of fun, got blisters and look forward to recruiting more people for our team for next year.  Thanks to my team for all you did, Love you all.

Donald's Promotion

I know this was a couple weeks ago, but I forgot to post it and I don't want Donald to think I am not proud of him.  On June 4th Donald was promoted from 5th grade and also given a certificate showing his acceptance to the G.A.T.E. program.  I am so proud of how smart he is and I just love this picture of us.

Congratulations Best Bud!

Happy Father's Day Don!

Since this is Don's 10th Father's Day as the father of my kids, I gave him 10 presents and he was given clues to find them around the house.  This slideshow was one of his gifts and it shows all 10 years of him being the amazing dad that he is.

Back from Girl's Camp!

Girl's camp was a blast!  We had an awesome time with the girls.  I am so glad that I got the chance to go.

Sweet Air

We went wakeboarding last week.  The water was pretty gross, but Donald got some sweet air!

Mmmm...Yummy graduation cake!

Eli's Kindergarten Graduation!

Eli graduated from Kindergarten today.  It was so cute I cried.  I just  can't believe he is getting so big.
