End of Summer Vacation

Another year of school has started and again we say goodbye to summer vacation.  This year Donald is in middle school and even though I don't feel ready at all for this, he has had a good first week of school.  I think that his favorite parts so far though are the cute girls and the big cheese burgers.  I think he likes the moving around and having different teachers so hopefully he will enjoy his new adventure.
Eli is in 2nd grade this year.  After he told me about his day today I have decided I would like to go back to second grade.  Since today was Friday, if they have no work to make up from the week they get to do Fun Friday where they get to choose one of the extra things to do.  Eli said that he wanted to do computers but since it has only been one week they are still working on permission slips and passwords so he went to Art with his friend.  At recess they chased a lizard and at lunch they put their chocolate milk in their sports bottles.  Paint, reptiles and cool drinks....sounds like my kind of day.
